  • Welcome to the Internet's premier Ad submission service web site, Blastomatic, #1 throughout the Internet. Blast-O-Matic has developed a viral system that combines AD submission with a confirmation of your data prior to submitting, there-by eliminating the aggravating false submission, spamming, and email bombing associated with all the rest of the AD submission services. We also offer free AD systems on our other servers if you are looking for an excellent lead generator. Contact me for more information on how you can get one of these new lead systems for your self or business. By the way, our new lead sites also come with a free autoresponder system and a lead control panel to help you manage the leads this system brings in. This is one powerful marketing system! Search engines are the latest craze, because that's where most of a web site's traffic comes from! Over 48% of your site's traffic comes from people looking for what you have in the search engines. But only the top 20 in any type of search will draw the traffic. You don't have to think very far to realize that you will probably never reach those heights in the search engine wars. However, all is not lost. The next big source of traffic is good news. Links from other sites represent about 20% of site traffic. This is where link sites, Guest books, Web Boards and Classifieds come in. Our Blast-O-Matic service submits to all the links, Guest books, Web Boards and Classifieds on the Internet. This represents over 12 million links to your site and can represent a major increase in site traffic in the short run. If you continue to use this service every 30 or so days, you will get more traffic and more traffic is good, right? We have also addressed the problem of false and erroneous submissions by putting our subscribers into the equation. You may have noticed that most other link/search engine submission services charge a sizable fee for their service. We do not charge you a fee to help you achieve the desired results regarding your marketing efforts and using our Blast-O-Matic system. This also assures that our system gets little if any unscrupulous submissions and false email addresses, both saving you time, money as well as making a mentor available to help you. Allowing your visitors to leave a link from your AD system to theirs is also a great way to build traffic. Giving them a Links Page and autoresponder is one of the best ways to develop a loyal subscriber. We have both services. Anyone can get a free submission system from us which includes an autoresponder lead control panel and as one of our subscribers you get the lead details from anyone setting up a free submission system. We have discussion and Support Forums! Get your marketing questions answered by successful webmaster, share your experiences and show off your expertise, learn Internet marketing tips and tricks, or just start a general discussion. We guarantee that every question will be answered. We also have a weekly live broadcast you can interact with to listen to and learn first hand from the pros. Contact me to find out how you can get in on the calls. You'll probably also want to subscribe to our newsletter. If you do, each month we'll send you a concise report detailing proven traffic-building strategies that you can put to use and profit from immediately. 1. A Hidden Source of Pollution in Your Business

When a business decides to go 'green", one item they often over look is whether their hosting company is green.  In the past decade, the demand for electricity has exploded, and most of that demand is used to power a huge supply of computers and peripherals.

It is very clear to most business people that turning off computers, faxes and printers when they not being used can save them money and reduce pollution. Few realize the impact they can make in terms of pollution by choosing a "green" hosting company. Accessing the Internet and running websites use a tremendous amount of power so choosing a web hosting company that is environmentally friendly is the right thing to do.  More and more hosting companies are going green, so if you are looking for a new hosting company, look to see if they use renewable energy or are involved in a carbon offset program.  Choosing a company that generates its own power through renewable energy is preferred.

If you have an existing hosting company, ask if they are "green". If not switch.  You will be doing the environment a favor.

    2. The Saga of Your Coffee Cup
It is estimated that Americans drink 45 million cups of coffee and tea in disposble cups each day. This equates to 7 million tons of CO2 being dumped into the atmosphere EVERY DAY. Save the environment and consider using a thermos for your coffee. Every little bit helps.

    3. Green Construction Trailer Makes Debut
A recent post on http://sustainable-development-forecast.com/blog, talks about a new "green" construction trailer.
Preston Koerner gives a detailed descripton on how eco-friendly and energy efficent this trailer, in use by the McCownGordon Construction  company.

    4. Think Pollution Control is Only For Big Industry?

Think Pollution Control is only for Big Industry

Most of us think of huge pollution belching factories when we think of pollution control.  This is so far from the truth.  Each one of us is guilty of polluting the planet.  Every one of us emits a certain amount or carbon dioxide. The measure of how much carbon dioxide we as individuals or huge industries emit is called the carbon footprint.  It is imperative that each one of us reduce our carbon footprint if we expect to stop global warming.

Lately, more and more is being said about off setting our personal carbon footprint. As individuals we can make a huge on global warming by reducing our carbon footprint.

So what actually is your carbon footprint.  Simply put it is the amount of greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide) that you as an individual produce through your everyday activities.

A Google search for carbon footprint calculators will give you websites that will actually give you an idea of just how much carbon dioxide you are producing.  They look at things like your utility bills, the type of automobile you drive and how many miles you travel, as well as the electrical appliances you have and use.

By knowing what your carbon footprint is, you can go about making changes that offset your personal carbon footprint in a very measurable way.

For most people, the easies way to reduce your carbon footprint is through your automobile.  Many people are switching to hybrid cars.  If a hybrid car isn't in your future, limiting your automobile usage by carpooling, planning errands, and riding a bicycle will certainly help.

One change that made a significant change in my electric bill and certainly helps with greenhouse gasses is switching to the new Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) bulbs.  We also spent $200 to have our attic insulation upgraded and realized a significant reduction in our air conditioning expenses. Of course everyone should know by know that raising the temperature of our air conditioning to 78 degrees makes a huge difference in your electric bills.

Other ways to reduce your carbon footprint is to use fewer products that require lots of packaging.  Stop using individual bottled water.  Use tap water and a reusable container.  Stop using plastic bags at the grocery store.  Bring your own reusable plastic bags. Eat locally produced foods.  The energy to transport food across the globe is astronomical.

There are just thousands of easy ways to reduce your carbon footprint.  There is even a website that will allow you to calculate your carbon footprint then send a specified amount of money to support a project that offsets carbon emissions such as replanting a forest.  To me this is just like letting the wealthy continue to pollute our earth and just pay their way out.

Send for my free report, "Everything You Wanted to Know About Pollution But Were Afraid to Ask".  After reading this report, you will certainly want to reduce your carbon footprint willingly.

    5. Is the Air in Your Home Clean?
When most people think about air pollution and air quality, they immediately think of those toxin belching factories and automobile emissions that are polluting our air.  Actuality, the air in your home can be even more polluted than the air outside. Houses today are so well build that air is trapped inside, festering with chemicals emitted from our everyday activities.

With the advent of air conditioning, windows in some homes are never opened to allow fresh air to enter.  If any members of your family suffer from allergies, or you would just like to improve the quality of the air you breathe, here are some tips to help you get started.

    •  Organic leafy house plants are a wonderful source of fresh oxygen.  They add fresh air to your home and absorb the carbon dioxide.
    •  Avoid the use of chemicals.  Clothing that has been dry cleaned should be air dried outside before bringing them into your home.  Better yet, buy natural fabric clothing that doesn’t require the use of toxic chemical to clean them.
    •  Aerosol sprays, ammonia, air fresheners, pesticides, fertilizers, chlorine are all harmful chemicals that leave residue in the air.  Avoid their use and check with your local officials as to how to dispose of them properly.
    •  Eliminate as many soft surfaces from your home as possible.  Curtains, carpets, throw rugs and other type fabrics harbor all sorts of toxins and other nasty stuff.   The Farmer Almanac’s Green Website, recommends that carpets be replaced with “sustainable bamboo flooring or high quality linoleum that does not leach petroleum compounds”.
    •  Avoid dry dusting.  Always use a damp cloth to dust, and use an environmentally friendly cleaning product on the cloth.
    •  Switching to “green” cleaning products is a smart thing to do. More and more products are being seen on grocery store shelves that are “green”.  No longer is cost a deterrent as these products are comparatively prices to their toxic counterparts. Just be sure and read the labels to be sure they are truly non-toxic.

    6. 10 Tips To Save Big Bucks On Fuel

We all need to reduce the amount of fuel we are using.  With the soaring price of fuel, it only makes sense to conserve. But even more important, auto emissions are destroying this planet big time.  If you can't afford to drive a hybrid at least consider some of the tips listed here to improve your fuel economy.

    1. Lighten up the load.  Get rid of all the extra junk in the car that isn't needed.  For every 100 pounds extra your fuel economy goes down 2 percent.  That might give you an incentive to go on a diet yourself.  Losing 50 pounds could not only save the planet, it could save you too!

    2. Easy on the gas pedal.  My dad taught me to drive with a raw egg between my foot and the gas pedal. Avoid jack rabbit starts and don't be an aggressive driver.

    3.  Obey the speed limit. Driving 5 miles over the speed limit drops your fuel economy by a whopping 6%.

    4.  Don't idle you car for more than 10 seconds, in winter, don't warm the car for more than 30 seconds.

    5.  Turn off the air conditioning in stop and go traffic, but don't drive with the windows open at high speeds.

    6. Keep your car in good running condition. Have it maintained regularly.

    7. You can save about a tank full of gasoline a year just by keeping your tires inflated properly.

    8. Avoid multiple trips to the store.  Plan your groceries ahead of time and buy in bulk.  Avoid traveling during rush hour and consider car pooling and mass transportation.

    9. The best way to save gas is to use a bicycle or walk.

    10. Read the Free report "Simple Steps You Can Take to Reduce Pollution" to learn more ways you can help save our planet.

    7. Are You Guilty of Pollution?
One way many of are guilty of pollution without realizing it is through our web hosting company.  Every year millions of website come online. Every one of those websites requires electricity to run them.  The energy required to run the internet is greater than that required to run the aviation industry.
Consider using a "green" company for your web hosting, Be sure they are generating their own power to run the servers and not just buying carbon offsets to make up for all the energy they use.

    8. Does Air Pollution Cause Tornados?

    Does Air Pollution Cause Tornados?

News out of India is reporting on a study done by David Lerach, a scientist out of Colorado State University. This report is saying that scientists studying super cell clouds noted that if the air was clean in these super cells, rotating clouds were produced. If the clouds were dirty and full of microscopic dust, tornados formed. Scientists don't fully understand tornados, but if this study proves to be correct, it certainly gives us another reason to end air pollution.

    10. Why is Recycling So Important
    FreeCycle/Blogfather

Free Cycle is One Way to Help the Environment by Recycling

You know who you are. Your wife calls you a pack rat, but you consider yourself to be a "collector" of fine treasures.

Your basement is full of old books, your daugher's playpen (she is now 17 years old!) and holiday decorations you haven't used in 20 years.  Your closets are even worse.  There are entire wardrobes from when you were a size 8, there are gifts that people gave you and you have never used,  and, oh yes,  that lava lamp.  Come on, will you ever use that stuff again?

If you are not the type of person to have a yard sale, tag sale or garage sale. If you don't want to spend a long weekend to get rid of all the stuff you have been collecting, and the stuff is too good to throw out, consider FreeCycle.

FreeCycle is a free, non-profit Internet Group that puts people together who either need an item, or who are looking to get rid of items. With nearly 5,000 groups around the world and over 6,000,000 members, you are sure to find a group near you.

The process to sign up for FreeCycle is easy. Just do a Google search for Free Cycle or go to http://FreeCycle.org and sign up for a free account.  A volunteer moderator will review your application and send you an email when you are approved for the group.
You can then post "wanted items" or "offers". and wait to be contacted.

The FreeCycle terms of service are spelled out on thewebsite, and it is advisable to read them.  FreeCycle does not allow members to take items for the sole purpose of reselling them.  The moderator also closely watches all posts for security issues.  Any post with an address or other information deemed to be a security issue is quickly removed.  People who consistanly do not show up to pick up an item are taken off the lists.

FreeCycle is a boon for recycling.  Items that were destined for a landfill are recycled and reused.  It is great for the environment and is helping people at the same time.  Very often, newly divorced people are looking for furniture to help them get re-established, or a new mom needs some baby items.  The neatest thing about FreeCycle is that you neve know what may show up on the list.  Books, craft supplies, appliances, used ski equipment, carpeting, lumber and computers.  The list goes on and is endless.

    11. How to Have a Green Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is coming at the end of this month here in the United States. Traditionally it is a time to stuff ourselves silly, then fall asleep after dinner. This year why not try a sustainable Thanksgiving. 1. Send invitations by mail using recycled paper, or send an email. 2 Make a grocery list and check it three times so you have everything you need to cook dinner. Avoid making extra trips to the store using extra fuel. 3 Buy a locally grown turkey, not one that has to travel thousands of miles to get to your grocery store. 4 Look for an organically grown turkey, from a local farm. These turkeys do not use chemicals such as hormones. Buying an organic turkey from a farm a great distance away, may just defeat the purpose of going green. They may used large quantities of fuel to transport them. 5 Choose vegtables that are in season in your locality. Again, be sure they are locally grown. Foods like potatoes, turnips, carrots, onions, rutabaga, and apple pie are traditional because those were the foods in season when the Pilgrums and Indians celebrated the first Thanksgiving. They sure couldn't have kiwi compote or pineapple upside down cake as a meal choice. 6. Consider a total green dinner and go vegetarian. 7. Don't forget to use the water that you boiled the vegtables in to water your plants. 8. Recycle food waste. Compost what can be composted. 9. Use your best china. No paper plates! 10. Don't forget to use earth friendly products to clean up. 11. Send leftovers home with the guests so you don't end up with science experiments in the refrigerator. 12. Best of all give thanks that there are people that care about the environment and our planet. Beverly Saltonstall, Environmental Writer visit http://totalrecyclingwebsite.com for a free simple daily plan you can start today to help out global recyling efforts.
